A week-long plein air painting course in the heart of Impressionist Normandy

From Saturday 30th August to Saturday 6th September, 2025

 

I am delighted to announce that we are travelling to France again to beautiful Etretat on the Normandy coast​ - the place where Impressionism took its first steps.

 

I'll be teaching a small group in the town which captured Monet's heart and imagination - painting en plein air in and around the area, including the iconic view from the world-famous cliffs - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and in some of the picturesque nearby villages.

​

The course is hands on - with lots of personal and group tuition, demonstrations on location and perhaps even a visit to Monet's home in Giverny!

 

You are welcome whatever your plein air experience level - the main thing is that you're passionate about art, oil painting and enjoy good company!
